Senior Energy Consultant
Your mission
As a Senior Energy Consultant, you will play a key role in your clients’ energy decision-making. You will bring technical expertise, strategic vision and analytical skills that allow you to anticipate risks and identify opportunities in a highly dynamic energy environment.
What will you do?
Procurement strategy and risk management
- Develop optimal energy procurement strategies (electricity and gas), aligned with each client’s needs and risk profile.
- Analyse energy markets (OMIE, OMIP, MEFF) and regulated components to identify opportunities and risks.
- Prepare technical and trend reports to support strategic decision-making.
Regulation and optimisation
- Interpret current energy regulations and regulatory changes, explaining their technical and economic impact to clients.
- Design and implement energy efficiency plans, cost optimisation initiatives and emission reduction strategies.
- Identify improvements in tariffs, network charges, levies and other regulated variables.
Advanced projects and stakeholder relations
- Lead technical and economic proposals for advanced projects (PPAs, self-consumption, CAEs, energy efficiency, green markets, etc.).
- Manage relationships with suppliers, distributors and other sector stakeholders, negotiating optimal conditions for clients.
- Provide support in public or private tender processes when required.
Innovation and internal leadership
- Drive innovation, digitalisation and continuous improvement projects for internal processes and methodologies.
- Act as a technical reference for junior profiles, providing mentoring, structure and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of new solutions and analytical models that deliver differential value to clients.

Requirements
Experience
- More than 3 years of proven experience in energy consulting or equivalent roles.
Technical knowledge
- Strong command of wholesale and retail energy markets (OMIE, OMIP, indexed products, curves, products, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of Spanish energy regulation (CNMC, BOE, PVPC, network charges, levies, hourly curves).
- Ability to analyse consumption profiles and optimise tariffs and regulated cost structures.
- Proficiency with data analysis and modelling tools: advanced Excel, Power BI.
- Familiarity and practical use of artificial intelligence tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.).
Professional competences
- Strong skills in client management, communication and negotiation with sector stakeholders.
- Analytical thinking, results orientation and initiative.
- Availability for occasional travel to clients or suppliers.
Nice to have
- Experience in advanced projects such as PPAs, self-consumption, CAEs, energy efficiency or green markets.
- Previous participation in public tenders or industrial sector projects.
