Final results of the Active Demand Response Service (SRAD) auction for the first half of 2026 were published, and at Energy Tools we are pleased that, thanks to the recent reduction in access restrictions (participations below 1 MW), we have been able to incorporate several new participants into the service.

The balance for just half a year is extraordinary:
👉 €1,200,000 in confirmed balancing payments, solely from our clients, who have made their manageable capacity available to the system.
All of this, without affecting their operations and generating new recurring revenue.

📈 Key context from the auction (Red Eléctrica – 28/11/2025):

• 1,725 MW assigned for the semester

• 2,279 service hours

• Marginal price: €65/MW, a very significant increase compared to last year (€56.43/MW), further reinforcing the attractiveness of the service.

These results show that:

• Demand flexibility is already a key tool within the electricity system.

• Removing access barriers allows more industries to participate.

• The compensation is significant and provides real, measurable value to companies.
